Dan3: Getting pretty hot around INTC by the sounds of things...No wonder DM is sounds so relaxed and confident about Opteron's prospects for success!!! Dan, Prescott power consumption is 15% over design spec typical power 103watts instead of the 89 the design called for And as a result, Intel will change the code name to Phoenix. But, as they say in Arizona, its dry heat. (which makes me I wonder about Tejas). It doesn't look like there is a Bangor on P4 roadmap. <g> Joe
