Petz, I saw a reference in that article to 91 A current. Wow! I guess this is may be the reason why may existing P4 mobos won't support Prescott. Joe

Re: Prescott Tdp. FANTASTIC NEWS! Christmas Prescotts will be almost non-existent if this is true. It may indicate that things are going quite badly with their new process. They did very well at .13 w/o SOI (as expected) but it appears that they've hit a wall there. This is a lot like what happened with AMD and copper at .18 except that this time Intel isn't ready with SOI for the next generation. On Intel's non-soi process, their mobile chip has wound up with a TDP of 74watts! That cannot have been expected, and experience tells us that it takes about 2 years to turn the supertanker-like Intel. Add in a confusing migration to 64-bits and things aren't looking as good for Intel as they did a few weeks ago.
