Actually, I assume that most here are something other than a "mere trader".

Housewife. Bricklayer. Accountant. Etc.

Do they have to disclose this?

Nobody here is require to disclose anything.

You probably should be concentrating on winning your case.

"My thought process is to learn as much as I can about the motivation of critics here who provide unbalanced views without addressing some key facts."

Oh. You mean like, for example, CountofMoneyCristo?

Oh, sorry, he's "fer" ya. Doesn't matter in that case, right?

" - not just some mere trader like everyone else."

That is rather presumptive of you! Everyone else is a mere trader? Get real. Most of us are much more than mere traders...in fact, I am not even much of a trader. Further, before I retired I was a systems analyst. Does that make me suspicious too. LOL!

how can you come to the conclusion that being a software engineer is relevant to anything? Seriously, there are hundreds, if not thousands of software engineers on SI. "SILICON INVESTOR"...look at the first word their. The URL used to be "www.techstocks.com" . A site with that name is going to attract techies.

Again, how is being a software engineer relevant to anything?
