I find the thread throughs tend to not let the line slide through with the lighter jigs. The Thills are a bit pricey so when you break your line they're worth going after.

Here's a tip. Have Kristy buy you a needle threader. It makes tying small eyed hooks to light line a breeze. They cost about 50 cents a pair.

I like the idea of a sun top on a boat, especially after having $4,100 worth of skin cancers removed a couple of months ago. That pontoon looks like a good sleeping place for night fishing.

My buddy Owen, who fought on Iwo Jima and in Korea so he ain't young, hooked up his 16' jon boat Saturday at noon. He drove to Lake Bloomington and netted shad for bait and then drove to Princeton, Wisconsin. Fished all night and got home Sunday noon with 22 catfish from 6 to 15 pounds. Two hour nap and he was at the coffee shop.
