The death penalty has been shelved by almost every modern nation in the world. All of them have lower crime rates than here in the US. Why do we need the death penalty? Have you considered how it has been wrongly used in the past? Have you considered why the death penalty is used against blacks and other minorities more than whites? Apparently whites murder in about the same proportion as blacks, but blacks get the death penalty more often...probably because they might be democrats I guess. Orca
