There are some contradictions here. For example when you say "to our way of thinking it is unconstitutional." It is very important to remember that each individual has their own perspective or "way of thinking" about the constitution. It was designed to accommodate many perspectives. If some condition is promoted in this country and it is legally "unconstitutional" we have recourse to remedy the situation. We do it via the justice system. That is why the justice system must always be honored above the prestige of elite citizens, groups, or even political entities. Tyranny can not prevail in a just constitutional system of checks and balances that positions power in the hands of the people.
