If someone says "buy", and you are paying a direct fee for their advice, and they are not sincere or completely honest about that advice, they should be held accountable in my opinion.
There is nothing wrong with making honest mistakes with one's recommendations except making a fool out of one's self, and that would not make a very good case in court if a client decided to sue under that circumstance, but we are not talking about that here.
