We have numerous procedural and technical safeguards, and can generate more. It is very rare to have a substantive error, since everything is bent to err is the direction of the accused. I am amazed you mention OJ, since that is a good error of the far more common error in favor of the accused. If someone is unjustly accused, it is tragic, but no reason to trash the system, any more than we stop using cars because accidental deaths are inevitable.

Anyway, suppose that all verdicts were sound, and tell me why we should not execute anyone, no matter how heinous the crime. Do you have a principled reason?
