Once Saddam, would have gone nuclear
There are alternatives besides ignoring a country the way Junior ignores Korea, and invading the country. Even though there is no evidence that Iraq had a nuclear program for a decade, if there had been one it would not have been cause for more alarm than Pakistan. States are deterred by mutal assured destruction.
