Aluminum tubes, Al Qaida connections, 45 minute attack capability with WMD's, a nuke within 3-5 years, tons of anthrax and other nasty stuff and Niger. All those claims and more were highly questionable yet fed us like popcorn. The Niger story is just the tip of the iceberg. Also now an issue are Cheney's hammering the CIA every single day to come up with evidence/intel the way HE wanted it, not the way it really was. The VP has no business doing that. Never before had the VP ever gone to Langley and intimidated the supposedly independent CIA to work directly for their skewed interests. This isn't even abvout Saddam anymore it's about abuses of power and intentional dishonesty.

My biggest concern for postwar Iraq is that it has all the makings of a civil war. The ethnic groups from what I have read hate each other. If my fears are borne out we may have to take sides which will not look good and earn us long term emnity of the people we liberated. Hope I am wrong. I bring this up now because with the deaths of those 2 sons the fear of hussein is probably gone and the people there will feel free to attack each other.
