John M.s dismissal of Biden just proves that point.

The party liberals hearts are with Dean, but they know he won't survive the Southern primaries. If he did, he would get killed in the election, worse than McGovern. So unless Biden comes in, It will be Kerry, IMO.

No and no. As for the second no, I didn't dismiss Biden; I simply enumerated his problems. They are hardly debilitating ones. I'll be surprised if he runs, however. As for his positions, we'll all have to wait to see what they are before we jump to conclusions. Won't we.

As for the first, the left wing status of the dem primary process, that's hardly correct. It's more that it's too fragmented to give it a label. It's all over the lot. We'll get a label for it but it ain't there yet. Unless you are one of those folks who can't think without a label.
