David, I don't think the media liked having Clinton pour cold water over the issue. It essentially kills the hype that they hoped for.

Maybe Clinton forsees a political trap being laid by the Republicans and is publicly warning his fellow Dems not to walk into it.

Clinton made a lengthy statement yesterday essentially "clearing" the Bush administration. Basically, he said the only mistake was inclusion of some erroneous information in the State of the Union address, and saying everything short of "I think Bush is right on target". He said HE certainly believed there were WMD.

You've told us over and over again that Clinton is a dishonest slime bucket. So why should we believe him now?
