And since Tenet was not fired it shows that Bush was happy that the CIA "allowed" him to add another fib to the littany of lies we have been assaulted with. Orca

Did you listen to Tenet's remark's? He explained why he apologized....It was not because the statement was false...

Mr Tenet apologized because his recollection was that the CIA did not specifically state they had a reservation about the info. And that's what one does under such a circumstance. But it seems he was not completely informed and the CIA did convey a reservation. And now a member of Ms Rice's staff may have heard that reservation but in that it occured a few months before the actual SOTU he may not have recalled at the time of the SOTU. And considering you don't seem to be able to get the info correct on one issue, I don't see a problem in any error so minor made by people handling hundreds of complex issues all at the same time. After all the statement made was 100% accurate and is backed by the Brit's 100% today. PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH has chits galore in Vigor's black box. The luck created by doing so much so right so often. your complaints are..... Picky picky picky.
