Sidney, Re: According to them we should just lay down our rights because .......why? America has a history of religious hysteria. From 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts onward, there has been and continues to be a strain of insanity in our culture associated with wacky religious beliefs. Bush demonstrates it when he says that God told him to attack Afghanistan and Iraq. Most sane people realize this is an indicator of mental illness. But most Americans accept it as some sort of a sign that George Bush is listening to a higher authority. Many commentators from beyond our shores have declared that America is going through one of its periodic bouts of insanity. I would have to say that they make a convincing argument for this being the case.

It's also called destiny. When a high impact and negative transformation occurs and no one blink an eye. In the present condition, the majority is being mesmerized to a stupor state and blindly follows, supports, and becomes one with the program. Fifty years from now, historians will look back at this period and call it the turning point of destiny, just as the mighty Roman and British empires went through their own critical times that accelerated to their subsequent destinies.
