Four U.S. Soldiers Die in Iraq Attacks
Three U.S. Soldiers Killed While Guarding Iraqi Hospital; Another Dies in Separate Attack

The Associated Press

BAGHDAD, Iraq July 26 —
A grenade attack Saturday killed three U.S. soldiers and wounded four as they guarded a children's hospital northeast of Baghdad, scuttling hopes a widespread guerrilla insurgency might lose strength after the deaths of Saddam Hussein's elder sons.

Another U.S. soldier died and two others were wounded later in the afternoon when their convoy was attacked west of Baghdad near the Abu Ghraib prison.

How many more headlines like this will the American people tollerate?!? Seems like things might come to a head quickly in Iraq.

Wars of aggression have never been the policy of the US and of course have been considered crimes for centuries.

The neocons are attempting to change that under the rubric of various lies. Today's difference is that lies are caught more quickly, so a more creative approach is needed: "preemptive war".

"Get real"? Sounds like you accept the idea of lying gov't officials and bogus wars

Reminds me of a high-level GOP attny who told me "Even if the Bush people are involved in terrorism, it's worth it, what we're doing now is too important".

Its not a surprise to see the neocons throw confusion on the issues with lies and cover-ups. The surprise is hearing people like you and that GOP attny say if all the lies fail such crimes were "worth it", even if our own gov't is discovered sponsoring terrorism. Or in your case, its "get real, it happens, get used to it".

That's the powerless jellyfish attitude of citizens who take no responsibility.

That's music to the ears of an all-powerful central gov't.
