X, There are several levels at work here. I prefer to read Jacob's post from the view that our military, different from those it is fighting, is actively investigating and preserving our values when some of its members break the rules of engagement. However, Chuck also has a point. Blind negative posting of 'THIS' administration has the same effect that Newt Gingrich had in opposing everything the Clinton administration did (good, bad or policy neutral). Eventually people tire of the histrionics - it undid Gingrich and could well undo a number of current administration opponents. John
