Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell ..He got in on reducing real estate taxes for schools and wants to fund pre school programs... However, he was to increase earned income tax by 1% or so and it will not cover the reduction in realestate taxes for workers... and will provide a big increase for his pre school education program and also reduce Philly local wage tax....
Republicans now have cut out his proposed pre school program and will approve slot machines , no increase in earned income tax for state and reduce realestate taxes and philly local tax... Now he is in a fight to see if he can still get his pre school program through.
bottom line vote in a democrat and watch more social programs and higher taxes.
