That hardly makes for interesting conversation, and that even before this little temper tantrum. Re "witches" - I can't be bothered to explain again. You'll just have to stay confused on this until the end of your days. Because humankind once killed "witches" it does not follow that all succeeding arguments about other issues become invalid! You are insane. The point is not "humankind". The point is the opinion of some pope from 1800s - that the Church (and its popes) was wrong about the "witches", the women they burnt at the stake, they were wrong about the earth being "flat", and that in all likelihood, that Pope from 1800s is just as wrong in his paranoias re Freemasonry. There. I explained it again. If you have an argument that the Catholic Church DOES NOT believe itself to be infiltrated and threatened by Freemasonry, then USE IT, Child! Even if the Catholic Church believes itself threatened by Freemasonry, pappy, that ain't no proof that Freemasonry aims to destroy the Church. It's like this: You may feel threatened by me, but that's no evidence that I actually intend to harm you. Ann might feel threatened by the pretty new girl in her class, but that ain't no proof that the girl actually intends to destroy Ann. SIMILARLY, Church may feel threatened by Freemasonry, but that's no evidence that the latter wants its destruction. Or anything. Church is threatened by scientists as well. You know, those guys who are actually beginning to prove wrong all that rubbish "creation" in God's image, the age of the universe (as cited in the Bible), etc. SIMILARLY, that doesn't mean scientists are conspiring to destroy the Catholic church. I hope you would agree.
