You just can't win...so it's better to warn.
Suppose the feds said nothing and another plane gets taken down...how long before the finger pointing by you? you'd say..."oh, what did they know in when did they know it, lets start an investigation and see if we can hang something on Bush, rah, rah"...

Ted,

Yep, about the only positive card that Bush has to play is the anti-terrorist card. That's why he keeps the angst level so high. If people realize that 9/11 was a one time tragedy, that the odds of a repeat are next to zero, then where will he be?

Even for the people that support his war, and all his other anti-terrorist stuff, what else has the guy done?
