JF, Clinton, as President, had the same interest as Bush, maybe a little less intense because of the timeframe, and because he didn't come from the industry.

Once again history is being rewritten. Clinton's real motivation for attacking Iraq was to distract the public from the Lewinsky scandal. Not even the most vocal of Clinton's opponents think he wanted oil.


And I thought it was to save his marriage! ;~o

Must have missed that history book. But since you state it with such sincerity, it must be a fact.

It's funny how people's political bent can influence their reasoning. You can't believe that Bush would start a war for oil, yet you firmly believe that Clinton would attack to distract from a blow job. Amazing.

John
