Do you have a position on the ACLU filing suit yesterday against the John Ashcroft theft of American freedoms called the USA PATRTIOT Act? It seems to me most of the theft of our freedoms is being perpetrated by the imperialist, big government types surrounding George Bush.

Dear M: Yes, I see someone responded to you about the Patriot Act. Its my feeling that the security provided by some of the provisions of the Patriot Act have prevented further terrorist activity. Has it occurred to you or anyone else that the reason the Dems are objecting is they WANT to have another terrorist event here in America so they can BLAME BUSH. It must be so as they seem at every step to do their best to WEAKEN our Security. I have yet to read one thing in the Patriot Act that would adversely effect an HONEST LAW ABIDING AMERICAN CITIZEN. jdn
