I wonder why Iraq's neighbors couldn't have done anything to change the regime. It's truly terrible what Saddam did to his subjects but it's not our role to play empire builder and rule the world. I think Egypt should've gone in and done something, after all we give them billions and they have the largest army in the area. In fact Egypt should go into Liberia but now President Shrub will take us into that unsolvable quagmire. My friend is from Mauritania and he feels it's not appropriate for the US to go into Liberia but that an African coalition should do it. Empires always collapse and that's the direction we're headed.
