The CIA may have gathered this information, but by merely stating a fact known to the Iraqis themselves, that they didn't want published, violates no secrecy agreement with the CIA. Yet you or I could not go to the library and get this data.
Not so fast! The facts is that info like that could be classified and protected by federal law. The fact the Iraqis already know it is not the point. The point is that if its published the Iraqis then know we know it.
