I don't think there's any reason to outlaw polygamous marriages now, the status of homosexuals notwithstanding.

C'mon. How many people do you really think would want polygamous marriages if they were legal? Not one tenth of one percent of the population. There would probably be more people who would want to marry their dogs.

No, he reacted to a proposed Constitutional amendment to prohibit gay marriage. That's the issue on the table right now. The nuts on the other side currently have the floor.
