Abu Sayyaf operates inside the Phillipines. Americans have been attacked there, not here. Unfortunately, Americans get attacked in many countries for many reasons. That doesn't make each group that attacks them a national threat, or Al Qaeda.

The point on Saudi Arabia is that it seems that the 9/11 hijackers got more support from SA than from Iraq (in fact, no link has been established between the 9/11 attack and Iraq). So, why aren't we after the 9/11 attackers?

Why haven't we invaded Saudi Arabia, who have aided and harbored more Al Qaeda than Iraq?
