oh dear oh dear Now you are trying to figure out how MUCH money? You might as well just concede the point. It was a good one. And I am right. And why shouldn't what gay couples "have" be recognized by marriage? What is the reason you think we should exclude them? They work, they pay taxes, they own homes, they raise children, they live together for years and years- why shouldn't they marry? Should the democratic process have been available to keep blacks second class citizens? Hmmm? Because in the South, that is what would have happened. The courts are the only refuge for a badly treated and reviled minority. If you wait for the majority to vote in your rights, you allow the majority to decide how long they will oppress the minority. Is that what America is about? We certainly have seen this- but is that what you want America to be about?
