Not in the market - except for the TNX.

Perhaps this will lead to one last panic filled rush of
refi's. My brother is locked in at 4.5% or something like
that. I think he's turning his 30 year mortgage into a 15
year and will be paying somewhere near the same amount
each month.

Vacation property still seems rather hot up by the lake.
I can't help but think only fools are buying now but I
guess you never know.

I can't tell you how many times I heard people saying this
week how real estate never seems to go down. I wonder how
real estate did back in the 1920-30's. Especially
vacation properties. I wonder where I could find stats
like that. It would be interesting to see.

A pleasant surprise for me was when I looked at the chart
of Silver today. It seems that those rolls of American
Silver Eagles that I bought earlier this year are going up
in value a little bit.

Silver seems to be making a nice bullish move here. At a
three year high and not much resistance until $5.50ish.

I'll have to keep an eye on how the market for Eagles
continue on Ebay. It should help provide some anecdotal
evidence of a trend or something like that.

I wonder what happened in 1998 that caused that huge spike
up to $7. Back in 1983 it was high as $14.95.
Was Madonna wearing silver jewelry back then? <g>

How's everything else? What have you been up to? Any digs
or rock climbing in the near future?
