The White House has already said that it will not intervene in the recall. While they can always change their minds, their main concern is Bush's re-election efforts. Intervening in the recall effort, which is probably going to set a new low for campaign decorum, is a no win situation for them.

If Bush provides any support to Riordan it will be invisible.
