And please don't provide links that make biblical references. The US gov't is a secular institution, not a religious one.

The US government is secular but that doesn't mean the country is secular.


We were talking about neocons and their effect on the US gov't.

Tolerance does not mean that religion must be ignored, quite the opposite.

I was not ignoring religion but rather saying it did not belong in a discussion on secular matters.

Also I see no reason to make any kind of commitment not to include links with biblical references. That would cut out too many good links. You won't normally see me make a religious argument or link to one, but sites with biblical references often aren't really religious sites. The bible has had a large effect on our culture but as a religious work and as a work of literature. Also I see no reason why the links I post have to meet some standard that you set.

The above is a lot of mumbo jumbo. This is the 21st century in a nation that is not a theocracy. Therefore, I am not interested in biblical references when discussing secular matters.
