KT, the difference is Lassonde has a plausible basis ( IMO) for his forecast whereas most Wall St forecasts are promotional hype. Maria Bartiromo would have us believe that there is a shortage DRAM chips and a glut of gold. -g- Mike

I had a friend who wrote a parody of a test given by the Air Force ROTC. His question was:

"The Pacific Ocean is:

(a) wet
(b) salty
(c) the largest ocean in the world"

He got "A" in every course he took except ROTC: physics, calculus, German, French. But not ROTC. That was too demanding.

I guess I did learn something worth knowing in the AF-ROTC, which was that the firebombing of Hamburg started a firestorm that killed over 300,000 people.

Sure hope I can keep making money by thinking like most people on this thread. There's some work going on at my house today that is costing $32 per man-hour plus materials, and I think today there are five guys working.
