"He blew the 2000 election against a very weak candidate." I look at it a bit differently. I think it was the stench from the clinton WH that he just could not shake off. If he could have separated better, it would have only taken a few votes in florida, you know. The Clinton stench offset the clinton prosperity. Now reinvented Al comes back as the mature anti war guy as opposed to Ben&Jerry Dr. Dean. Anyway that could be a plan. As for kerry, he is damaged goods already because of the flip/flop and the return of Algore would also hurt his former veep candidate lieberman who might then bow out. And like in all good heavyweight return bouts, Gore may unite the party by choosing Whining Joe for a rematch against bush/cheney. mike@brainstormingonaslowday.com
