You can accept that OBL and his gang pulled off the 9/11 terrorist attacks and still find yourself wondering why the U.S. government was so inept in responding to the attacks?!? I know I certainly feel that way. I think the theory that the U.S. government might have just "let it happen" for their own selfish political purposes might hold some water. In any case, 9/11 demonstrated that there was something seriously wrong with the way we conducted our business before 9/11. Hopefully, something has changed since then.
