Al, Let me ask...why do YOU think it would be a loss for bush if powell leaves ?

I already told you. Powell character and integrity rises above the partisan politics. Being a political moderate means nothing, because if that were the case any "Joe Nobody" could become president.

What do you expect that they go around praising bush? Is that what bush did during his campaign against Clinton?

I expect the Dems to have learned their lesson from 2002. The consensus was that back then, the Dems failed to define themselves, except as the "anti-Bush," which is why they lost big time. Seems like they're repeating these mistakes, emphasizing what Bush has done wrong over what they can do right.

Don't go there...

How about this: The definition of partisan politics - Posting everything negative you can about the guy whose policies you disagree with, and neglecting to post anything positive or otherwise spinnable into a negative, for the express purpose of getting someone else into power.
