Hi Glenn, From the LA Times article: "Perhaps, some suggest, California's image troubles result not from an epidemic of insanity but from a contagious preoccupation: Vanity." Bingo, as we say in the Midwest. I'm savoring the reaction of the Republicans. The funniest moment today for those who find shadenfreude satisfying was the tearful statement by Darrel Issa saying he would be dropping out of the race. Apparently the little twit thought he could buy the Goverrnorship on the cheap, and lost his bet. No bingo there. And the Dick Riordan associate who quipped: "No we know what it feels like to be mugged." was worth the price of admission. The TV media seems to be doing its usual fawning today. At least there is something perversely more upbeat about Schwarzenegger engaging in anti-democratic chicanery than watching Kobe Bryant squirm in a made-for-TV unreality series. ************ I'm stickin' to my knittin'. I think the recall is a perversion of democracy and hope it gets stopped, or voted down. Otherwise, here's to Governor Arianna! May the best woman win! ariannaforgov.com
