The way I see it Bush had the misfortune of inheriting a bubble economy which had begun to burst. I can't think of any easy fix other than working off the prior excesses which isn't going to be easy. The man most responsible is Alan Greenspan. In addition, the Wall St establishment has done a great deal of damage. Mike
