Well, the other indexes S&P 500 has trailing reported earnings of about $30. So, if this were a long-term bottom, we would be at 300-360 or at the most 400.

If the economy improves (helped by a nice dose of inflation) we will see earnings increase to 45-50 and the S&P trading at 450-600 sometime during the next 10 years. If the economy falters and earnings (real earnings, not the phony pro-forma numbers), we can see it bottom around 200-250. That's my outlook.
