I object to your characterization of Eastern voters as intelligentsia. I pointed out the Canadian Election result breakdown. Your are assuming that everyone in Eastern Canada must be intelligent because they don't vote for the Reform/Allliance, that may not be the only reason.

Perhaps the Canadian voters are just suspicious and the Reform/Alliance policies just need time to infiltrate.

My reference to the intelligentsia is to the Toronto Star, and to a lesser extent, the editorial board of the Globe and Mail. The platform of Reform/Alliance is imminicable to the Atkinson legacy of "social justice", aka "fling money at every perceived problem" and screw the taxpayer who actually makes a contribution.

Your suggestion that everyone in Eastern Canada must be intelligent because they don't vote for the Reform/Allliance is laughable in twisting my meaning. The point is that they are taking Western Canadian tax dollars to do things with no lasting value, only to buy votes . If Martin were really serious about Western alienation, he would reorient the Federal govt. toward doing well the things that the Constitution laid out for the Federal govt., and stop pushing the Atkinson Social Justice agenda.
