"Several prestigious scientific journals have editorialized about the Bush administration's dealings in science in recent months, including Science, Nature and the New England Journal of Medicine"

Partisan sniping? Damn those highly political scientists! yes I am sure the Bush administration is MUCH less political than Science, Nature and the NEJM. ROFL What will they think of next?

Scary times as Americans isnt it Dale. Watching the country destroyed for corporate America or the regime's personal exploitation all under the veil of "war on terror". How many generations will it take to undo the damage this regime is doing to workers, the environment, personal freedoms, etc.. I shudder to think of what four more years of these scumbags would do.

btw, as a Texan, how did you come out so moderate? <g>

p.s. think the body count out of Iraq is legit? I realize the numbers are bogus for Iraqi's killed, but how about GI's?
