thecow.... Well.... now I'm really up the creek.....!!!!!!!!! The entire SS and all data has disappeared..... When opening it this morning I found nothing but an empty closed down file. Located with Find File.... it is recorded as a 29.7 file size..... So contents are still there, but cannot be opened or entered or viewed....? Must have done something wrong in trying to get reduce those 65,000 rows......and the last SAVE was a bomb.... I run PC on Windows 98 with a 2000 Excel package. Any Ideas....? That particular page was hard to navigate and I wished to reduce the number of accessable rows to 350 as is all the other pages. There is no data on any row past 150....
