Democrats’ actions shameful August 7, 2003 President Bush said, “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.” That is a true statement. And, although there was a forgery within the mass of evidence they had, the British intelligence stands by their conclusion. No matter how hard the Democratic National Committee or any liberal tries to twist the truth into a lie or a deception, the fact is that the statement is true. Bill Clinton pulled the rug out from under these stupid attacks by essentially saying, “Forgetaboutit — there’s nothing there.” It’s shameful that Democrats try to make something bad out of a true statement made by President Bush but when Clinton gets a campaign contribution from the Chinese military, no one asks why the Chinese military wanted Clinton to win a second term. Bill Clinton had a good reason for siding with President Bush when he did. It’s because Hillary will not run for president in 2004, but she will in 2008. The Clintons believe Bush will win re-election. But just to make sure none of the Keystone Kops running against Bush accidentally pulls off a miracle, Bill Clinton helps Bush in 2004.
