RtS has a report on AMAT and Dell of interest buried in the RobBlack.report on his thread as follows:

investorshub.com

<Boxmakers . . . Fitzgerald at Banc of America believes there is little that Applied Materials can say when it reports fiscal third quarter results Tuesday that could stem a slide in its stock price to $15, except perhaps an outlook that surpasses even the most optimistic forecasts. Fitzgerald feels that is unlikely. He said end-market demand is still "weak," and therefore Dell Computer's earnings report, slated for release on Aug. 14, will have a "far bigger impact" on Applied Materials' stock price than anything Applied Materials reports. "Without supporting news in the end markets the good news in the semi-equipment sector at these valuations is a reason to sell, not to accumulate," Fitzgerald said.>
