Three M (MMM) now looks like a buy and hold, declared a split tonightso should make some uppage
finance.yahoo.com
Maybe it takes a (really) old-timer to buy and hold today, I have great difficulty holding when they go from 100 to 150 a share and back again.
So I just jump on board for a while and make no plans for 2007
Now I compare MMM to BDY and TSCO which are making good progress , and see if 3m will outperform those before making a decision

My A.G. Edwards indicator flashed a signal last week. I never know exactly what the signal means, but those guys had the lights on well into the night. They're usually long gone by the time the market closes. So, something was going on.
I'll say this _ the brokers have totally lost the retail customer, other than their most wealthy, or loyal, clients. The days of sitting down in a stock broker's office and talking about their latest research reco's are long, long, long gone.
