I got side swiped by PSINet big time. Got out of that ugly "B" at about 0.005/shr or something ridiculous. That was when it "was" trading (pink sheets or worse if I remember)

FYI: TD tends to be sympathetic on commissions. They do not want to charge you MORE than what you will get from the stock. (day trades excluded). I think this one (not sure) they sold it -- I ended up getting 3 cents -- 2 went to pay the US "Sell" Tax and 1 cent in commission -- total of $0.00 back to me. (Even with some dogs you can call them and they will reduce the commission to $10; can't remember the rule).

Did I mention the loss was in the neighborhood of $4.5K US.
No I didn't nykk nykk

Cheers..

PS: The "ugly sell" stories are my favorites.. the coulda woulda shouldas.. who wants to hear about successes all the time!!???? This was the WORSE sell I had but then I have had some ugly "100 for 1" consolidations too -- but as Hammy Hampster would say ... "but thats another story"

CORRECTION: KEEP DOMESTIC DOGS IN RRSP

My original message:

"When I spoke with TD they seemed to suggest as it does not trade I cannot have it removed from my account (whereas an RSP you can -- but shouldn't if it is foreign)"

S/b

-- but shouldn't if it is domestic)

You want to keep your domestic HIGH so you get full 30% of it in foreign. So any dogs in the RSP that are FOREIGN should be removed (or do a sell/rebuy to adjust the book value lower) -- and domestic should not be touched unless they are higher than book.
