Rubbush. Pakistan was the only country in the world to even recognize the Taliban as the government of Afghanistan. There was no international opposition to eliminating the terrorist camps and the Taliban. Nobody gives a rats-ass about the FAD thread or old posts you might or might not bother to dig up. In the world of nation states, the consensus on Afghanistan was as near to unanimity as you can get. Iraq on the other hand created a global furor, not because Saddam was liked or respected, but because Bush adopted a doctrine that pissed in the face of international law and then took our "allies" and shoved their faces into our litter box and told them to eat it or else -- "you're either with us or you're against us".
