Maybe the airline industry should have imported the pilots. Then they wouldn't be asking for taxpayer funded bailouts. As it is their cost structure is way out of line with their revenues. My point was that you are not going to stop out sourcing by outlawing H1/ L1 visas. The market cannot support the prevailing US IT wages and the wages will have to drop untill an equilibrium wage is established where demand and supply are equal. At these wages there is excess supply of IT workers compared to demand for their services. This is Economics 101. Anindo
