IQ? The 20th century electronics revolution was invented here. The first practical distribution of electrical power was in the US. Remember Thomas Edison? A large part of the development of radio was done here. Most of TV. Almost all of the development of computers. Essentially all of integrated circuits. Much of the internet. A large chunk of the biotech revolution is happening here.

Since 1950, 33 of 117 Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry have been American.

Since 1950, 61 of 106 Nobel Prize winners in Physics have been American.

Since 1950, 68 of 110 Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine have been American.

And that's native Americans, not foreign born citizens who did their work here. There are also quite a few of them, such as Abdus Salam, born in Pakistan.

Not one Nobel Prize winner is Finnish.
