Education? Three options: at home, at a privately-run institution, or whatever you pick up along the road of life.
Okaaaay.
Your parents don't want to bother educating you.
Or can't afford to.

Who pays the price? You do.
Is that your fault? No.

Is this the way to run and keep a democracy? Sure doesn't appear to be to me. At a minimum, I would think the citizens of a democracy would have to understand what a democracy is and why you want your gov't to be one.

that one thing which should definitely be made ILLEGAL are those gas-powered blowers... the ones the landscapers have used to replace brooms... oh those and those sidewalk power washing air compressors... we need to ostracize everyone who uses either blowers or wants to power wash the sidewalk... especially when i'm taking a nap....

'Monopolies' are welcome. If you can build one, it's yours...unless you're a government entity.

Oh, you think you would enjoy owing your soul to the company store? If you were being abused by a monopoly in some way you would be in line to complain. It's easy to scoff when you're sitting pretty. But a smart man would look down the road and try to make sure that they keep sitting pretty. Bush is destroying our country while you applaud. That doesn't mean the Dems are any better. But right now a Dems fiscal policy looks conservative compared to Bush's fiscal madness.
