If the USA offers the NUN the oil if they set up shop in Iraq, I think it won't take long to get agreement. Russia and France will want to get their greedy paws on it, so there'll have to be some discussions before any handovers.

It's time for the NUN constitutional conference to be held in Iraq. Come on King George II, here's your chance to really make progress and show them not to misunderestimate or misunderstand you and your intentions.

The US cannot take matters into its own hands and act in the name of the UN

GST, half the UN wants to do nothing except thwart the US, no matter the cause; the other half wants to do nothing at all except hold conferences in five star hotels. If you stopped being all starry-eyed about the sacredness of the "the UN" and started looking at what it is and what it has actually done, and more importantly, not done, you'd realize that leaving the world to the UN is leaving it to chaos.

You keep talking about the UN as a superior legal authority. Tell me, who elected them? Who elected most of the governments that sit in the UN? Right this minute, Libya chairs the Human Rights Commission, and Syria chairs the Security Council. Do you really want the standards of Libya and Syria making decisions for you? And it goes without saying that Israel, the eternal scapegoat at the UN, is not even allowed to sit on either of these august committee. Thus dictatorships rule over democracies at the UN.
