moenmac, California has a crisis in their Workers Comp program because it is funded by private insurance. Here, in WA, we do not have a similar crisis because the program is funded by state taxes and self insurance with no insurance companies involved. This point is missed by most people.

I look at everything as what is fair. Life is or is not fair. Life is coping with whatever comes your way. You elect a person and trust him to do what is right or fair. Because you or some subset don't like it or thinks it's not fair has little meaning.

For every loser there is a winner. What's fair.

The me mentality is where most of republican support comes from these days. Think of it. I want to benefit from living in America but don't want to pay taxes. Pile up debt its the burden of future generations. Let's go conquer nations in ear but don't send me or my kids as the soldiers to do it. The less fortunate are a bunch of losers don't use my money to help them.
