Got lucky an hour or so ago and saw my second fireball....a very bright meteor.

Had just set up and aligned the 8GPS, went inside to watch the end of Two Towers......saw through the window in the NE a very bright green head with a yellow tail about 10 degrees long..thought at first that someone had fired off a flare but it was going down, not up like a flare or firework would. Couldn't hear it because of the tv and ceiling fan noise.....very cool.
